Fisheye lens photography lends itself naturally to tight areas with subjects all around. In this case, the image is taken looking up at the temple inside the Rinpung Dzong in Paro, Bhutan. Dzongs were once the fortresses that housed local rulers before Bhutan became a united country. Today they are typically used for both regional government activities and by Buddhist monks as a monastery. As Buddhism is the official religion of Bhutan, the mixing of the two uses is quite natural.
